Meditation is Magic

Sara Thornhill’s appearance on The Fit Mess podcast, titled Meditation is Magic, shares her deeply personal story and the transformative power of meditation in her life. Sara opens up about how a consistent meditation practice helped her achieve sobriety, come out as a lesbian later in life, and embrace her authentic self. She describes meditation as both “magic and medicine,” a unique practice that merges science and spirituality. By incorporating meditation into her daily routine, Sara found an effective path to self-discovery, resilience, and personal empowerment, particularly through challenging life transitions like divorce and embracing her identity.

In her work as a resilience coach, Sara specializes in guiding LGBTQ+ women through heartbreak, helping them process pain and rebuild with strength. At the heart of her coaching is a focus on what she calls “inner technologies”—meditative practices and mood-boosting techniques that can be easily implemented in daily life. This approach allows her clients to manage stress, reconnect with themselves, and create a foundation for a more fulfilled and wholehearted life. Sara’s programs, outlined on her website, Sara Webb Says, aim to empower women to overcome emotional challenges with the support of practical tools and compassionate guidance.

In addition to private coaching, Sara offers group programs and workshops designed to provide LGBTQ+ women with the resources needed for personal growth. Her approach is inclusive, creating safe spaces for clients to explore resilience and emotional well-being while prioritizing self-empowerment and self-love. In this episode of The Fit Mess, Sara Thornhill (formerly Sara Webb of SaraWebbSays) shares how a twice-daily meditation practice helped her get sober, come out of the closet, and be honest with herself about who she is.
